Do your products contain any SPF?
Our Ocean Mineral Moisturizer contains ingredients that have a natural SPF of 6.
Are your products gluten free?
Although none of our products contain gluten, our production facility is not a gluten-free trained production facility.
Do your products contain GMOs?
Nope, all of our ingredients are GMO-free.
Do any of your products contain nuts?
Our Ocean Mineral Moisturizer and Clear Skin Foaming Cleanser contain shea butter (which is derived from the shea nut). It should not pose any known or likely allergenic risk to consumers including individuals with pre-existing peanut or tree nut allergies.
Are your products tested on animals?
Do you even have to ask?? The answer is never; we love ALL animals and strive to promote a cruelty-free society.
How do your products stay fresh?
Easy! Our Detox Mask comes in a powder form, allowing us to create a preservative-free facial mask! When necessary, we use the safest, most sustainable preservatives. Although a handful of them are not organic, we use trace amounts because we have to in order to keep the products fresh, clean and functional.
What is the shelf life of your products?
Since all of our products are basically crafted and packaged for orders as we receive them, all of our products have a shelf life of about 1-2 years from your time of purchase! Feel free to email us for more specific information depending on which product you're questioning.
Are your products vegan?
With the exception of our Raw Honey Honey Lip Gloss, all of our products are 100% vegan-friendly! *Our Lip Gloss can't technically be considered vegan because it's handmade with honey and beeswax.
Why should I use organic skincare?
Simple answer? It works! We're here to make it affordable, and you don't need to be putting unnecessary chemicals on your body's largest organ (your SKIN)!
How do I know if I have dry or oily skin?
While everyone's skin is different, we do have this handy blog post to help figure out your skin type. And, of course, always reach out to us on our "Contact Us" page for personal recommendations - we're always here to help guide you, 'cause skincare should be a treat, not a hassle.
Are your products safe to use while pregnant/breastfeeding?
We're proud that you're concerned enough to ask! While none of our products contain ingredients at levels that cause concern during pregnancy or while breastfeeding, certain products contain ingredients (i.e., essential oils) that some women try to avoid during pregnancy. If you have any concerns on any ingredients at all, we advise you to consult your Doctor with the specific ingredient list before using the product. You can find our ingredient list for each product under the "Ingredient" tab on the product page.
Can men use your products?
Of course! Guys need to take care of their skin and feel great, too!

How can I get my free gift?
If we are running a free gift promotion, you must first make sure you qualify (if guidelines are listed). If you do, a pop-up asking to accept your free gift will occur prior to checking out. Once you accept the free gift, it will be added to your cart. But, make sure you double check your order before hitting that submit button! 'Cause if your free gift is not added to your order, we won't know to ship it to you. If you have any issues with this while trying to place your order, please reach out to us BEFORE finalizing your order.
Can I use more than one discount code while checking out?
Guys, c'mon. For handmade, organic skincare, we're proud to say we've got great prices as is, we offer low flat-rate shipping prices...etc. etc. Thus, 1 discount code per order.
I forgot to use my discount code, will you accept it after my order has been placed?
If only our system was that easy. Unfortunately, no we cannot retroactively add a discount to your order once it's been placed. Discount codes must be entered at the time of checkout. We get that technology gets funky on us sometimes, so if you're experiencing difficulties with discount codes, please contact us before placing your order and we will always honor your discount (as long as you've emailed us before a sale/offer expires).
I placed an order right before a sale started, can I still get the discount?
Again...no. We LOVE you for buying our products at their full price, and trust us, we have sales all the time. Be sure you're subscribed to our emailing list to be the first to know about sales and specials (and make sure our emails aren't going to your spam folder if you're already subscribed. You won't want to miss out on these exclusive offers).
Are your prices in USD?
We are based in the good 'ol USA, so yes, all of our prices are in USD. We recommend using an online currency converter for any currency questions. Of course feel free to email us if you need any help!

I just placed my order and need to cancel it, what do I do?
Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible. But, like most places, if your order has already been shipped, we will be unable to cancel the order since it's already on the way to you (yep, we're that fast).
What do I do if I entered in my address incorrectly?
We're still doing that? Just kidding...but seriously, if you provided us with an incorrect or incomplete address upon checkout, please email us at email@example.com AS SOON AS POSSIBLE so we can fix that lil' mishap before your order goes out wrong. If you fail to notify us of an address change prior to the shipment of your order, you will be responsible for the reshipment cost (and we hate making you pay it, so double check on that confirmation email!). Once the original package is returned to us and the additional shipping costs have been received, we will reship your order straight away.
How are your products shipped?
Did you know we have a super small team, and that all orders are hand-packaged at our warehouse in Traverse City, MI and shipped through the United States Postal Service? (Probably not, or you wouldn't be on our FAQ page). Domestic (U.S.) packages are mailed directly from our warehouse. International packages are mailed through a fulfillment center located in Chicago, IL. We currently ship products to almost any international location ('cause we don't hold out on people like that). How long does delivery take?
Since shipping prices are so low, shipping times are pretty average; Domestic (U.S.) orders should take 5-7 business days to be delivered once they have shipped.
International orders should take 10-25 days to be delivered, depending on location.

I placed an order but why haven't I received my tracking information yet?
Patience, my friend. You will receive a shipping confirmation email that contains your tracking info within 24 hours of when you placed the order (check spam/junk folder!). Keep in mind if you placed an order on a weekend, you'll receive your tracking information the following business day ('cause yes, we like to take time off, too).

My international tracking says it's in Chicago, IL. What does this mean?
Yes, it's normal for your tracking to say your package is in Chicago for a little while. Your package is actually in route to you and has left the United States. Your tracking information indicates that the package has departed from the U.S. and is in transit to your international location. Once a package leaves the United States, the destination country's postal service will take over and complete the delivery, i.e. a government-based delivery service, such as Australia Post, Canada Post, etc. Please allow up to 20 business days for delivery.
What do I do if my products arrived damaged?
Nobody wants to open their box all excited for a spa night, only to find their products are damaged/defective. But, stuff happens (with the mail-carriers) sometimes...please send us a photo of the products as you received them within 14 days of delivery and we will address the mishandling issue for you!
My package is lost! What do I do?
It's okay! We'll figure this thing out together and locate your organic goodies as fast as we can. All packages are sent with a USPS tracking number and can be tracked via the shipping confirmation sent to you after placing your order. We'll be real here...if you want to locate your package, your best bet would be to physically visit your local post office with your tracking info and also email us with any questions regarding delayed deliveries.
If your tracking information indicates that your package was delivered but you haven't received it, please contact your local postal carrier. Most of the time we're able to locate your package with a little extra digging if this happens.
For international packages: if you have not received your package within 25 days, please physically visit your local post office (i.e, whoever delivers your every-day mail) or customs office. If you still cannot locate your package, please email us and we'll get to the bottom of it for you.
Can I return my products?
We stand behind the quality of every product we produce. If you are not completely satisfied, you may return the products for a refund. You must have your return package postmarked within 30 days of your package's delivery date to receive a refund. What are the benefits of your Detox Mask?
We are not messing around when we say this mask has tons of benefits for your beautiful face; powerful detoxifying action works instantly to restore blemish-prone skin. What measurements do I use to mix my Detox Mask?
People stress a little bit too much on this one. It's not rocket science, and if you mix too much mask, you can save it for later (covered in your fridge). We recommend starting with one teaspoon of our mask to one teaspoon of purified water or Detoxifying Solution. View our how-to video here for a more detailed explanation!
Can I use your Detox Mask if I have sensitive and dry skin?
Everyone's skin is different, so we can't say 100% yes, but 9 times out of 10 customers with dry, sensitive skin love our mask when it's used properly. Believe it or not, our Detox Mask contains a couple all-natural clays that have been known to be beneficial for dry skin! We simply recommend applying a thin layer of mask, leaving on for only 5-10 minutes, and using it only 1-2 times a week while your skin adjusts. Also, be sure you're only using purified water to mix your mask if your skin is sensitive.
I am breaking out after using your products, what should I do?
Everyone's skin is SO different, so it's hard to say what exactly the issue is for you without talking with you about your experience, but it could be anything ranging from how often you're using the mask, your diet, hormones, the use of any other non-organic skincare you might use, possibly using skincare that isn't good for your skin type (i.e., using an oil-based moisturizer versus a water based moisturizer if your skin is oily), or even using our Detox Solution rather than purified water. Breakouts are more common than you'd think at the beginning of using products that are meant to detoxify your skin, as it pulls that dirt and chemicals to the surface of your skin and your face is basically "purging"... Skin purging often happens when you start using new products (i.e., an exfoliator), but can also happen when you simply start taking care of your skin...Of course, we recommend you stick with it, we promise your skin will eventually thank you!

What should I mix my Detox Mask with?
If you have dry, sensitive skin or you're just starting to use detox masks for the first time, we recommend using purified water to mix your mask! However, if you have oily or combo skin and you're looking to really cut down on the oily parts of your face (OR if you have pesky blackheads you're trying to clear up) you should definitely try our Detoxifying Solution!
Should I use tap water or purified water to mix my mask?
We wish tap water was legit enough to recommend, but since everyone's water is so different and may contain chemicals that mess with your skin, we definitely recommend to use purified water to mix your mask.
Why is your mask in powdered form?
We love this question because we love the answer. Keeping the mask in powder form is essential for a long-lasting, preservative-free facial mask! Plus, you can mix your mask up according to how much you want to use, AND you can choose what is mixed with the powder based on what your skin is craving. It's really that simple.
How is this mask different from other face masks?
Aside from coming in a powder form, our mask is specially formulated with SIX all-natural clays that are designed to be beneficial for all skin types for one reason or another. We also add a bit of organic/natural white willow bark extract which has been known to fight acne. How long does it take to see results?
This is not an answer we can feel good about giving an exact timeline on...And also, what product are you referring to? If it's our mask, well, everyone's skin is different, so results vary from person to person. It also depends on what you consider to be "results" ...some people have a couple zits that clear up after one use, some people are using the mask to help reduce scars from previous acne - in this case it could take up to 3 months to see the results you want. My face is red after removing the Detoxifying Mask, is this normal?
You can calm down now...Yes, it is typical to experience redness and slight tingling as the mask is designed to draw out dirt and bacteria from your skin which increases blood flow to your face (i.e., red color). If redness lasts longer than 30-45 minutes, we recommend decreasing the amount of time you leave the mask on.
If you are using your mask for the first time, you may need to decrease the amount of time you leave the mask on until your skin has time to adjust to the powerful detoxifying effects.
If you tend to have sensitive skin, use purified water to mix with your Detox Mask and decrease the amount of time you leave the mask on for. Just mess around with how you're using the product, don't give up on it right away!
Products - Clear Skin Foaming Cleanser
How do I use the Foaming Cleanser?
You know the phrase, "one and done"? Well that applies to our Clear Skin Foaming Cleanser. One pump is really all you need. Wet your face, apply the foamy goodness, spread it around and then rinse it off. Could it be easier? Probz not.
Is the Foaming Cleanser safe for sensitive and dry skin?
We're back to the idea that everyone's skin is SO different... Check out the ingredients in this product and make sure that you don't tend to have a sensitivity to any of them. Also, one thing to keep in mind is that foaming cleansers can be a tad aggressive on skin that is very sensitive, so you'll just have to try it and see for yourself if you're curious!

What's the difference between the OMM and HIM?
Our Ocean Mineral Moisturizer is oil-based, whereas our Herbal Infused Moisturizer is water-based. We recommend our Ocean Mineral Moisturizer for dry skin and our Herbal Infused Moisturizer for oily skin.
Can I use the moisturizers both day and night?
Does a cat meow? Hehe...just kiddin'. YES, we always recommend you wash and moisturize your face morning and night. It's not hard, so do it. Your face will thank you when you're 50.
Products - Clear Skin Kit
What order should I use the Clear Skin Kit?
Detox Mask, Cleanser and then Moisturize. Yes, you read that right; cleanser comes AFTER your mask so that you can clean off that residual clay and the gunk the mask just pulled out from your pores, and it also makes sure those open pores get super-duper cleansed.
I just received my products; how often should I use them?
Again, everyone's skin is different, and it depends what product you're actually referring to... We recommend using the Detoxifying Mask 1-2 times per week for 10-15 minutes to start. Once your skin adjusts, up your usage to 3-4 times per week for up to 30 minutes. All other products can be used at least twice daily.
