Unfortunately, this premade base is full of chemicals that can actually threaten your health. Chemicals such as the antibacterial agent, Triclosan, can disrupt your endocrine system resulting in hormonal imbalances. Other nasty ingredients including artificial fragrance, parabens and sodium laurel sulfates can cause skin irritations and may even be linked to certain cancers.
